With 17 years of hairdressing experience, Kate has created more than just a salon — she’s built a place where women gather like old friends. It’s where stories are shared, secrets are spilled, and glasses of wine are clinked, all while the magic of lush hair unfolds.
Think of it as the feminine twist on a gentleman’s club — except here it’s blow-dries, blonding, and boujee vibes instead of cigars and scotch. A space dripping in pink, flowers, and laughter where every client feels like she belongs.
We call them the Ladies of Lush Lane — a sisterhood of women who value confidence, connection, and a touch of luxury in their lives. Whether you arrive in slippers or stilettos, you’ll always be welcomed as one of them. Makala
Our little apprentice, Makala is now in the 2nd year of her apprenticeship with us. At just 19 years old, she’s the sweetest and most responsible team member. Her parents did an amazing job! Makala is our beach-loving surfer chick who spends her free time riding waves with her dad and brother. Her passion for hair is unmatched – she works tirelessly, even texting us about hair ideas all night and weekend long.
Bianca
Bianca has been with us for four amazing years. She's our resident joker and loves a good muck around. A devoted soccer mum with three soccer-loving kids, Bianca's passion for the sport is borderline obsessive (in the best way possible!). When she's not on the field, you'll find her transforming locks with stunning blonde hues, adding luscious extensions, or perfecting her newly beloved up-styling techniques.
Lauryn
Hailing from England, Lauryn joined our team 2 years ago and has already become our ray of sunshine. Super bubbly and always having a laugh, Lauryn's infectious happy energy is impossible to resist. Her gorgeous curls perfectly complement her vibrant personality, making her our go-to guru for all things curly. If you hear laughter echoing through the salon, you can bet Lauryn is nearby spreading joy.
